For sale a George V Elm and Iron Banded Grain Bushel Measure.

The measure is constructed from beautiful figured elm which has been steamed in order to construct the sides and fixed using a series of iron bands that are complete with handles to either side. Stamps for the bushel measure and George V’s reign are present to both the base and to the sides giving a date of construction between 1910 and 1936.
